California Middle School Forensics (CMSF) traces its origins to 2011, when the first middle school tournament for California students was created. Since then, the tournament has grown tremendously each year. The CMSF oversees the state tournament, and ensures that the policies and practices are standardized and fair. In 2018, the CMSF was sheltered under the SCJFL, and now operates as a sub-committee of the parent organization. As such, the CMSF uses the SCJFL rules and by-laws unless when specifically stated. We are dedicated to hosting the most enjoyable and competitive state tournament possible.
